Just don’t put on too much.

If you are going on a date you really want to keep your makeup looking just naturally beautiful.
I know it’s very contradictory to what most people believe, but guys don’t like a lot of makeup.
They just like you to look naturally gorgeous.
Here is a great video similiar to what I mention below, a tad different though.

So I recommend you focus on highlighting your eyes.
Take a light shimmery, not glittery, eyeshadow that is similiar or slightly lighter than your skin tone and apply it along the three major parts of the eye that shoule be highlighted:
1. Along the brow bone, right underneath the highest point of your arch
2. Right in the center of your eyelid, it will make your eyes appear larger, rounder, and more prominent.
3. The inner corner of your eye all the way around your tear duct
Apply the shimmery shadow in those three places and be sure to blend it out well so it doesn’t look too harsh.
If you want a little more definition I would take a matte medium brown, no shimmer, and apply that right into your crease just to define your eyes. But don’t go too dark or too dramatic.
Then I would apply a dark brown eyeliner to your lashlines and smudge it out with a Q-tip just so it doesn’t look so harsh, but don’t blend it down too much as you can start to look racoon like.
If you have larger eyes I would line the waterline, but if you have smaller eyes dont. It will close off your eyes too much.
Always curl your lashes, it really opens up the eyes.
And apply a lot of black mascara!
Really take your time applying your mascara, you want your lashes to look full but defined, not a clumpy hot mess. Also be sure to really concentrate on your outer lashes to give you that suttle cat eye effect.
As for lips I would go for a sheer/nude pink lipgloss. Nothing too bright or out there. I really love Bare slimshine from MAC.
It’s a really great neutral shade that adds the perfect amount of color and glossiness to your lips, but anything will do.
Make sure to add some blush as well. I don’t know your skin tone so I can’t really recommend anything, but go with a color that would look natural that has a slight satiny finish to it so it will highlight your cheeks. Apply it to the apples of your cheeks and then just blend it back towards your hairline.
Oh! And make sure your brows are nice and tweezed.
Hope I helped!
