Halloween comes around every year making millions of kids happy of course but what about you? Don’t you do want to fun things on Halloween as well? Most men really dig going looking as grossed out as possible and some of their partners are cool about it but what if that just isn’t your thing? What if you want to be that **** playboy bunny or Marilyn Monroe, a fairy or anything like that? You are really not going to be wearing ripped up clothes, and dirty things, you are going to be wearing a costume that is going to cost you about 60 + dollars correct? Do you want your makeup to reflect you normal everyday makeup or do you to really look like a playboy bunny, or farm maid, **** cop or witch?

Its time to step out your shell and be someone else, and truly play the part! Why not half the world is going to be out there with you right? The style of makeup you will need to do is going to be a bit harder to do.Halloween makeup used to be tons of it and the brighter & wilder the better! It was like you wanted to be able to be seen from across the room and give a great first impression. You never know who you might be meeting at all those Costume parties, Costume Contests, Masquerade balls, Themed Night Clubs that we as grownups love to be at on Halloween right?

Who doesn’t want to be met at the door of some haunted house this year with a **** witch or bar maid? Think of the business that would give you oh and that could be you too! You know haunted houses are big business for church’s in need of a little extra money right? Put it on for the kids and make the grownup’s a bit happy with the eye candy that could be you.

Some Halloween makeup ideas are going to take a lot of different colors to make the whole look come together. What’s different about going glam instead of ghoul is the style of course of the makeup and what you do to create it. After you have pick out the costume you want to wear this year its time to decide how to do your makeup. Take a good look at your face and decide what is your best feature and work with it. For our example, we are going to use farm maid. Any of these ideas and tips can be found on a DVD called Halloween Makeup Collection One with more information on the how’s to step by step.

For a **** witch, or cowgirl, or even **** cop you are going to want simple, but still be seen. So more makeup than usual will be needed but tasteful done. Start off with your best feature you are going to want to play up, and we are going to use eyes as our example. A farm maid is going to have a simple innocent look such as doe eyes. That look is still something you will need to plan out because you want it to last you all night under all types of lighting.

Start off with your makeup primer, or foundation all over your eyelid. This is to keep your makeup in place. Next you will need a all over color and for this look pick something really light.

Smudge your base color on the lid, blending up and out towards the brow till it pretty much just fades away. A nice grey would work well for this. Next you need to intensify that color with a darker color by adding it to the crease of the following the natural curve of the socket. Lighten under the brow line and use a round makeup brush to smudge it the two colors together starting from the outside in. Go easy on your eyeliner and do wear mascara. If you look younger than you are, your eyes will be just right for this look. Don’t forget your blush and wear a pretty pink if you’re a farm maid or cowboy, if you are using this look for a **** cop then go red with your lipstick.

This is the Halloween you need to set away from looking like you are going to be playing with dead people all night and walk out into the spotlight looking totally hot! Anyone can be a ghoul but only those with the true know-how of how glamorous makeup is done can pull off the more beautiful looks. This year let it be you! A geisha is a female, professional Japanese entertainer and hostess. It’s believed that geishas started wearing white face makeup to establish themselves in society. In China, a white face was a sign of nobility and wealth. Some historians believe that geishas started wearing white because the beautiful women in the west had white faces.

Applying The Makeup

Applying geisha makeup isn’t terribly difficult, but it does take a bit of practice. Before you touch any makeup to your face, you need to clean your face, dry your face and apply a face moisturizer. The moisturizer will help protect your skin from the makeup that geishas put on their face. This makeup can dry out your face. A moisturizer prevents some of this.

Next, you’re going to need to apply a white foundation or a cakey white face paint to your face. You don’t want the makeup to be too thick or too stark. Remember, you’re trying to be a geisha, not a clown or a mime. Try using an ivory foundation and then covering it with a white powder. This should help moderate the color. Your foundation should extend over your eyebrows. You will need to draw new, thin, dark eyebrows above your existing eyebrows. The foundation should also go over your lips. This will help your lipstick last longer.

When you’re finished applying the foundation, wait for it to dry and then put red blush on your cheeks. You want your checks to look full. To achieve this look, apply the blush to the round part of your check rather than lightly brushing it over your check bones.

The eye makeup needs to include outlining your entire eye with a thick eyeliner. Next, Apply a dark eye shadow from your eye up to your eyebrow line. You need to put at least three coats of mascara on your eyelashes. When you’re finished with this, apply a dark red lipstick to your lips and viola! Besides the fact that using your fingers to apply foundation and eyeshadow make it hard create an even appearance, it also can introduce your skin to a host of bacterias that can lead to eye infections and blemishes. For eyeshadow application invest in the following tool:

Makeup Brushes: Purchase a set of natural hair makeup brushes to achieve the perfect look. These will help apply eyeshadow evenly and in the proper place. Look for angled brushes in a variety of sizes from one that can cover your lid with a sweep to a thin one that can be used to apply eyeliner. Cotton Swabs: Cotton swabs are one tools you can keep in your makeup bag. They are inexpensive and can be used to apply makeup or to blend makeup. When it comes to your eyes, that are terrific for applying foundation and blending your eyeshadow to achieve a softer or more dramatic look. Three Shades of Eyeshadow: When you’re buying eyeshadow it’s best by eyeshadow sets with three or more colors. Applying Your Eye Shadow
Prime Your Eyelids: As with most makeup the best place to start is with a good foundation. Apply a foundation that matches your skin tone to your eye lid and the surrounding area. Apply Lightest Shade: The lightest eyeshadow shade acts as a highlighter and is applied first. Apply Medium Shade: Using a brush that will fit within the confines or your eye lid. brush the medium color across your lid. Apply your mascara with a sweeping motion to both the top and bottom lashes. Remove any clumps while mascara is still damp.

One of the sexiest makeup looks is the smoky eye. However, if done incorrectly, this look can be disasterous. There is nothing more unappealing than a smoky eye look done wrong. A woman can end up looking like a clown, raccoon or zombie. Not good looks. When done right, however, a woman can end up looking like a sensual, beautiful goddess. You have to start off with the right basics. The first thing you’ll need is a good foundation. You want your skin tone to be even and your skin to look its best. Go for a coverage that’s not too matte, not too dewy.

Rather than using foundation and powder as a base on your eyes, try a shadow base especially designed for this purpose. After your base has been applied, go for a light blush on the cheeks. Sheer rose or a pinky-peach color is nice. A light flush is preferable to dark blush. Now, it’s time to move to the eyes. Apply a sheer wash of a medium toned neutral all over the lid ending at the browbone. Then, use black gel or liquid eyeliner and trace around the entire eye, as close to the lash lid as you can get. After the eyeliner is completely dry, cover with one coat of black eye pencil, then smudge gently.

The next step is to apply a charcoal colored powder shadow on the lid. The color should be most intense on the lid and crease, then blended gently to the browbone. Add a touch of white or cream colored shadow on the browbone to accent the eye and provide a highlight. Then, use the dark charcoal shade again with a slanted brush to apply it on top of your eyeliner under the eye. Dust a translucent powder over your eye makeup to set it. Then, curl your lashes with a good eyelash curler (I like Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler) and apply two coats of black lengthening mascara. Of course, you can also use false lashes if you like for an even more dramatic look.

The smoky eye should be balanced with **** lips. Or, go for a color that is as close to your natural lip color as possible. A light gloss is OK but anything too shiny (or too matte) will take attention from your eyes. A word of wisdom — don’t ever try dark eyes and dark lips which gives an overmade appearance.

Green eyes are really fun to work with. They have such a wide color range from turqouise to chartreuse to forest green to bright light green and on and on.

These tips are designed for the magority of green eyes, but of course there are exceptions to every rule. My best advice is to try every color that you’re interested in. You’ll be surprised what looks good.

Choosing An Eyeshadow

These colors are some of the most popular for green eyes.

Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.

Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.

Dark purples, plums and metallics work too. Coppers and golds will make a really glamorous evening look for makeup tips for green eyes. I personally really like the way deep purples look with dark green eyes.

Colors To Avoid

When you’re learning makeup tips for green eyes, it also helps to know what colors you might want to avoid.

First up, blues. Any color of blue doesn’t do green eyes justice. I would recommend avoiding light blues, dark blues and even some colors (purples or pinks) with blue undertones.

Pinks are also a hard color to judge. Some can look really, really good and others can look really, really bad. This is usually a matter of trial and error.

Silvers are not a good choice either. Leave them for the blue eyes.

Eyeliner Colors

Unless you really like black eyeliner, it’s usually a color to avoid. Try steely grays or chocolate browns. Use gold or white to open up the eye if your eyes are small.

The Rule Of Thumb

A good rule of thumb when choosing a color for makeup tips for green eyes is to focus on warm colors and avoid cool colors.

Like I said, there are exceptions to every rule, but this should provide a nearly fail-safe method for choosing eyeshadow colors to bring out the beauty of your green eyes.

The Application

How you apply your eyeshadow depends how many colors you’re wearing and what the occasion is.

For basic every day wear, here’s what you do.

1. Apply a highlighter like crystalline to the entire eye from the bottom of the crease to the eyebrow.

2. Use a taupe or apricot next and apply it to the whole eyelid and blend it just above the crease with the crystalline.

3. Then use your third color (chocolate brown, dark green, copper, etc.) and apply it one of two ways:

a. Apply it from the middle of your eyelid from the eyelash to just above the crease. Blend it well. You can even blend it under the lower lashes for a more dramatic look.

b. Apply it from the inner corner of your eyelid and sweep it out to the outer corner of your eye. It will get thicker the further out you go. Blend well.

4. Apply eyeliner and mascara as you normally would.
